We have had a busy week getting back into routine in P7.

We started our Halloween Enterprise.  Our Lucky Dip has been very successful and will continue to run until Tuesday 31st October.  We are looking forward to receiving Pumpkin Carving Competition entries on Monday and Tuesday.

In Maths we have been revisiting shape; making sure we know the properties of 2D and 3D shapes before moving on to nets and learning about circles.  In literacy we have been looking at Reflective Reading using song lyrics.  We used inference skills to understand what the song ‘Firework’ by Katy Perry means.

We have started parctising for Puss in Boots.  Some children know their lines very well while others need to make sure we are practising as much as we can.  We are going to start making props and backdrops as well as rehearsing all our scenes.
