P7 Update: End of Term 1

We have finally reached the end of term 1 and it has certainly been a busy one.  We have learned lots of new things and have had some great taster experiences.  We have reflected on what we have learned and what we are looking forward to in the coming terms.

Toby: I really enjoyed Dynamic Earth and learned about Whale Sharks.  I am looking forward to our Panto, and going to Transition camp.

Lauren:  I learned a lot about the oceans when performing my class talk and visiting Dynamic Earth.  I am looking forward to being Puss (in Boots) and camp.

Jamie: I learned that the sea covers 70% of the Earth’s surface.  I am looking forward to Panto next term.

Lee J: I’ve learned a bit about area and volume and it is helping me with my maths.  I am looking forward to school camp.

Jack W: I have learned that an iceberg can be 1 mile thick.  I am looking forward to Panto next term.

Thapelo: I learned more about rainforests, biomes and the big bang.  I am looking forward to panto, and going camping with the other schools at Kingswood.

Milissa: I have learned how to measure in maths.  I am looking forward to camp and Panto.

Anya: In maths I have learned about Place Value, Area and Volume.  I am looking forward to panto and camp.

Lee C: In a rainforest it can rain for 18 hours at a time.  I am looking forward to more P.E.

Kiyan: I enjoyed learning about the rainforest and that it rains a lot.  I am looking forward to another trip (if we have one!)

Jay: I liked learning about Climate Change and desertification.

Dylan: I learned that rain clouds have different names to normal clouds.  I am looking

forward to camp and Panto.

Alfie: I learned that if there was no rain, there would be no Earth worth living on.  I am looking forward to our end of year trip.

Leah: I really like the Risk Factory.  I am looking forward to camp.

Jack M: I enjoyed learning about the oceans at Dynamic Earth.  I am looking forward to panto.

Ailey: I enjoyed it when the Maths teachers came down and gave us blocks to count.

Caitlin: I enjoyed the Just Dance-athon.  I am looking forward to pantomime next term.

Kate:  I enjoyed learning about the effects of climate change.  I am looking forward to Panto!

Sophia:  I enjoyed Dynamic Earth and I learned that oceans give out oxygen.  I am looking forward to panto.

Nicole:  I have learned what animals and plants show a river that is clean and one that is polluted.  I am looking forward to panto and camp.

Amy: I learned that the Arctic and Antarctic are classed as deserts.  I am looking forward to panto an transition camp.

We hope everyone has a fantastic holiday and we will see you back on 24th October!
