Monday

On Monday we were introduced to a new reading activity called Blankety Blank. We had to think of words to fill in the gaps in the story and it had to make sense. With Mr Robertson we finished off our Knex activity which was to build a fairground ride.

Tuesday

On Tuesday morning Primary 7 held their JustDanceathon which they had to raise initial funds for their Enterprise project. Primary 6 also joined in and had fun with this activity. We also made predictions about our volcanoes erupting and had fun making chemical reactions.

Wednesday
Gist came into school to teach us about Child Road Safety. We learned about road signs, the green cross code and lots of interesting facts. We also learned that lorry drivers cannot see in front of their lorries, you have to be quite far away before they would see you. We were excited to sit in the lorry and see the fridge and the bunkbeds.
Lots of people presented to the class about their chosen habitat or climate change – lots of effort had went into this.

Thursday
We spent the day travelling through time at Dynamic Earth. This let us consolidate our learning about different habitats and parts of the Earth. We all had a great time!
