We’ve been very busy with our learning over the last few weeks in P4/3.  Last week we were very excited to try making one of the recipes from the Secret Seven stories that we’ve been reading!  We created our very own homemade lemonade and it was delicious!  Some of us had never tried real lemonade before so it was very exciting.  This week we worked in writing to learn how to give information by writing the recipe.  Here’s the recipe if you’d like to try it yourself.

 

Ingredients – 1 cup of sugar
1 cup of boiling water
4 cups of cold water
6 lemons

1. First boil the water on the stove and dissolve the sugar in the water.  Take off the heat and leave to the side.
2. Cut the lemons in half and using a lemon squeezer, squeeze out all the juice.
3. Add the lemon juice to the sugar water and the cold water and give a good mix.
4. Chill in the fridge until cold.
5. Enjoy!
