This week in Primary 2/1 we have continued to learn new sounds and are blending our sounds to make words. We have begun to look at directions and the vocabulary we can use like left, right, forwards and backwards. We had lots of fun directing each other around the classroom and playground.

After reading the Gruffalo’ Child this week our outdoor learning this week was learning about shadows. We were lucky to get some sunny weather and were able to draw around each other’s shadows. There was also some bug hotel building too. 

We really enjoyed taking part in the MacMillan coffee morning today, well done to the Primary 4s and Miss Thomson, it was great fun!
