What a busy week in P3!
In literacy we have been looking at prediction. We did this through the book “The Day the Crayons Quit”. In groups, we picked a different colour of crayon and predicted why they decided to quit their job. Once we thought of possible reasons, we completed a “hot seat” activity in which the rest of the class could ask us questions. We all had coloured headbands to help us get into character.
In Maths we have been continuing to work on counting in increments of 2, 3 and 10, both forwards and backwards. This is really helping us to have a deeper understanding of number.
We are been learning to recognise and understand colours in French….Miss Stevens has been so impressed with how good we are at it.
We we also were lucky enough to get a visit from Mr Stewart, a P.E specialist. It was so fun learning about gymnastics and getting to use the apparatus. Look at what a great job we did!
Parent consultation appointments have been sent home with us, however, Miss Stevens has noticed a few that accidentally got left behind. She will make sure they go into school bags on Monday. 🙂
