Primary 4 are very busy organising their Macmillan Coffee Morning!

Thank you very much for your donations of raffle prizes and biscuits so far.   All donations will continue to be gratefully received!

A quick reminder of how we will be organising our event:

Date:  Friday 6th October 2017

Time:  10am – 12pm

Each class will attend the coffee morning during a timetabled slot.  Tickets for this cost 50p and children will receive juice and a cake.  They will also have the chance to participate in some small games and stalls during their time.  Money for the tickets can be sent in to school and will be collected by P4.

To tie in with the cake theme, P4 are also holding the very first Kirkhill Bake Off!!  Entry to the competition costs £1, and entries should be handed in on Thursday 5th October for our House Team to judge.  The entries will then be donated to our coffee morning on Friday.  The winners will be announced at our class assembly before the coffee morning.

P4 are also producing their very own ‘Cakehill Cook Book’ – full of their favourite sweet treat recipes.  Order slips were sent home last week and we’ve had a few returned so far!  If you would like to order a copy, please let us know.

Finally, we will be holding a Dress Down day on the date for a donation to Macmillan.  The theme is ‘Wear Green for Macmillan’, but as always, no football colours please.
