Primary 4/3 have had a very busy start to the new school year with lots of great learning taking place in our class. We have been reading, ‘Well Done, Secret Seven’ by Enid Blyton and have been enjoying learning all about the Secret Seven and the adventures that they go on. We were very excited about the Secret Seven Hut which they use for their meetings. We all agreed that we would love to have a meeting hut too in our gardens. We’ve been writing all about our own friends just like the Secret Seven who are all very good friends. Now that we are nearly finished the book, Mrs Smith has bought another Secret Seven book which we are all very excited to get started on.
Last week we were working on counting in 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s and 6s in maths which some of us found very tricky and other not so tricky. We know that this will help us with our times tables.
We’ve also continued to work on our Houses and Homes context for learning where we have learned about the different types of houses there are and we labelled these to show the different types.
In French we have been learning how to greet people. Every morning we do the register in French which is helping us with our learning.
