This was the last week the class will meet baby Billie. They have enjoyed watching her grow and develop, and learn all about empathy, and the growing process that Billie went through.
Outdoor Learning
To take advantage of the fabulous weather this week, P3 went outdoor to do some learning.

What a warm day. A great reason for P3 to measure out how big the Egyptian Sphinx really is outdoors. pic.twitter.com/VHzaAqqKuT

And some other news…
P3 continue to develop their mental maths skills using Number Talks. This is a process where they learn different strategies, and have to be able to articulate the thinking process they go through to come up with the answer to a problem set by Mr Robertson.
P3 have also been practising for the sports day next week. Hopefully the weather will continue to be just as nice for Sports day on Tuesday.
They have been learning how to improve their writing by using VCOP – Vocabulary, connectives, openers and punctuation. The focus this week has been on connectives and openers.
