Our week in P4/3

This week we practiced some of the races for our upcoming Sports’ Day in PE. We participated in the skipping race, bean bag race and the egg and spoon race. We are looking forward to the event and have been reminded that it’s really important to have appropriate clothes in school for our PE lessons. Trainers are the best footwear as our school shoes aren’t always very practical when we are running!

Piotr lost his beanbag!

Jacob learning to balance the beanbag!

Jessica having fun skipping.

Amy at the starting line!

Grace concentrating!

As part of our Titanic topic we have started mapping the ship’s intended journey across the Atlantic Ocean. We are using an Atlas to help us to identify the counties that the Titanic stopped at before it headed towards New York City. We will include a key in our maps. The next step in our learning is to discover more about why the Titanic sank.

We really enjoyed watching the Primary 1 assembly on Friday. Our Pupil of the Week was Piotr as he is trying hard to act more sensibly in class. Well done, Piotr! Keep up the good work.

Our P4 pupils are very excited to be heading to Low Port this week. We are looking forward to hearing all about their adventures when they return! Enjoy!
