On Tuesday the Easter fun continued as the Golden Club members got to enjoy their treat which was postponed on the last day of term. It was great to hear about the fun which everyone had during the Easter holidays and I was pleased to hear that lots of the class enjoyed their time outdoors in the sunny weather.

In Maths we have been learning about different units of measurement and how to measure accurately using a range of equipment. We have had lots of fun measuring objects inside and outside the school. Some of us can even convert between some units of measurement. We will continue this work when we return from our camp/activities week.

We have been consolidating some of our work from last term in grammar and transferring this into our writing. The focus of our writing this week was to write a letter to a S1 pupil regarding our questions about transition. I was really impressed with the questions which the children came up with during our transition topic lesson.

The focus this term will be on Transition and we have lots of events to attend during this busy final term. We will be giving a letter out soon to which details dates, events, times and specific information regarding each activity. Some of the class have been getting excited about going to Kingswood on Tuesday and have been gathering last minute pieces of information. The non-campers are also looking forward to their activities next week.
