Primary 2 continued with their under the sea topic this week. We learned about taking care of the oceans and the impact of fishing. The children then wrote some lovely persuasive writing pieces to convince other people to do their best to take care of the oceans. We also made some adorable paper plate crabs!
In maths, we have been looking more at fractions. We moved on from halves to quarters. We have been looking at sharing shapes into equal parts, as well as quantities, and I’ve been very pleased with the children’s understanding.
Please remember that next Friday is Red Nose Day. We are also looking forward to the first day of spring on Monday!
Have a lovely weekend!
