This week our class began looking at division for the first time. The children are doing a great job keeping their adding and taking away skills fresh, and are now working on making the connection between multiplying and dividing.

We also continue to practise our writing skills, including sentences and handwriting. The children used their imagination to write about being a pop star!

We have been learning a bit about music, including what kinds of instruments make high pitch or low pitch sounds. They got to put their knowledge to use by making musical instruments of their own from junk materials. The children took these home today.
