We have sadly finished our topic on WW2 this week. We all participated in presenting a short talk to the class on WW2. Some of these presentations included quizzes and everyone did a great job. We learned all about Anne Frank and concentration camps this week, and we are nearly finished our class novel – The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. We are all looking forward to watching the DVD of this next week. We all had to make a model for our Home Learning on WW2 and we have some great models to share with you and will post these up later.
P7 have a football tournament coming up on 20th March so we have been practising our football skills during P.E. Some of us started Dodgeball After School Club and really enjoyed it. P6s have been working very hard to learn all the scenes foe Beauty and the Beast. Miss Sutherland has been able to sneak in on some practices and it look like it will be a fantastic show!
In maths we have continued working on fractions: looking at equivalent and simplifying as well as adding and subtracting.
We were lucky to watch the fantastic P4/5 show. We think they did a great job!
