On Monday, we really enjoyed taking part in a Tae-kwon-do taster session. We were worn out after learning some kicks and punches. The spiderman crawling was a highlight! Some of us enjoyed our session so much that we have signed up for the Tae-kwon-do after school club to continue to work on our skills.
We have been busy planning for our upcoming fashion show as part of our France topic with Mrs. Blair. If any of our parents/carers have any old clothes, we would really appreciate it if you could send them in to be fashioned into something that we can then model!
In Numeracy, we have been working on our multiplication tables. We are finding links between the 2 and 4 times tables which is helping us become more confident. You can help us by letting us practise with you at home. Even a few minutes in the car will make a huge difference!
In Drama, we performed our adverts to each other and offered peer feedback to help us to make our commercials even better. We need to work on making sure our backs are never to the audience, making our product name very clear and using persuasive language to help sell our chocolates. Next week we will work on persuasive language in Literacy with Mrs. Robertson to help us to make our adverts more effective.
Here are some photographs of our rehearsals. We tried very hard to work as a team by listening to each other and giving everyone an important part in the adverts.
Enjoy the extended holiday weekend! We look forward to hearing what you all got up to when we return on Wednesday.
