This last couple of weeks in maths, the focus has been on place value-  understanding the meaning and importance of the digits in each column of a number. We have been using physical objects to help us understand this – and used these to challenge each other in little games.

The class have been learning how to play the ukulele with Gordon who has kindly come in to teach the class. This week we have been learning some new chords – the C and F which are not easy, but the class are making great progress doing this and enjoying it at the same time.
