This week in primary 1 we have been continuing to look at taking away and we worked in groups to make our own subtraction stories. Mrs McCann was so impressed she is making them into a book!

We also wrote some super imaginative stories about Oz the dragon. We looked at the structure of a story; introduction, problem and solving the problem. Our stories included Oz helping dry a slide in the park and going to the cinema and eating his favourite food – popcorn!

We have learned two more new sounds (w and img) and have been learning more tricky words. We continue to work on our blending for writing and reading.

please could everyone bring in homework folders each day so that we can read our books in school as well as at home.
