What a busy week we have had in Primary 4/3! We started our week off with our Rights Day and participated in lots of different activities to help us to learn more about our rights.
In writing, we completed some acrostic poetry that was inspired by the treats in our class novel ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ by Roald Dahl. We had to think of some interesting adjectives (describing words) to include in our poems. Here are some examples below.
We also enjoyed our HIIT (high intensity interval training) workout in PE on Thursday. We learned how to do the ‘plank’ and we are focusing on performing these exercises safely. There were a lot of red faces as we left the hall which meant we worked our bodies hard! Please help us to remember our PE kits every Monday and Thursday.
We ended our week with our Scots Poetry Assembly. We really enjoyed hearing the class winners’ performances and we even got to see a Highland Dance. Well done to Nicole and Abi in our class who both received certificates of commendation for being Primary 3 and Primary 4 finalists.
I apologise for not updating the blog for Primary 4/3. There have been a few technical issues over the past few weeks but I now have it up and running! Mrs. Blair and I look forward to sharing the learning with you every week from now on :).
Mrs. Robertson
