Primary 2/1 have been working really hard this week!

Next week, we will be continuing our Mini Scotland Topic. The children will be learning about the Loch Ness Monster and will also be creating their own tartan and thistle pictures. Next week the children will also be reciting their poems to their stage. These went home in bags today. Sorry for the delay.

In Maths, we will continue to learn about money. P2 and some of the children will be adding with 1p, 2p and 5p and will also begin finding change from 10p. P1 will also be learning about subtraction within 10.

Reading books will continue to be sent home weekly. As will the yellow home learning jotters. Please sign all homework. Sounds cards and tricky words cards will also continue to come home.

In P.E we have been learning some fun rolls in Gymnastics! Ask your child to show you a sausage roll, a pencil roll abd an egg roll! Next week we will be working on our teddy bear rolls and a forwards roll! In outdoor P.E we will be working on our football skills!
