Watch out for the dragon!

Welcome back and happy New Year to everyone. There was much excitement in Primary 1 on our first day back when we received a letter tied with a red ribbon. We thought it might have been a letter from Santa but we were wrong. It was from a very sad dragon who lived in Fairyland but his home was disappearing. He has asked us to help him build Fairyland in our classroom and we are really excited to help him!

We read the story of Jack and the Beanstalk and we have started to make our own beanstalk in the classroom and have been reading fairytales every day while we have our milk.

Our letter was a little burnt! But the dragon explained that when he smiles or laughs little puffs of fire pop out of his mouth and he was happy because he knew we would help him 🙂

Besides helping the dragon we will also be learning new sounds and practising our adding up to 10 next week.

Please can you ensure your child has both indoor and outdoor PE in school.
