Happy New Year from P7

This week we have had a short week back at school and have quickly settled back into a routine. In writing, we shared our favourite events of the last year and looked at making targets which are achievable by the end of Primary 7.

This week we have started our topic about World War 2 and the children discussed which activities they could make, say, write and do. I was very impressed with the activities which they came up with for our topic lessons. Firstly we have learned about when the War started and a little about the different events which shaped the outcome of the war. The class really enjoyed this lessons and are eager to learn more next week.

In Maths, we have started learning about decimals and some of us realised the link between decimals and money. We started off with ordering decimals which some of us found tricky but we will keep working on this.

P.E. days this term are Monday and Wednesday where both indoor and appropriate outdoor clothing is needed.
