P7 and P7/6 took to the MUGA for P.E. and ended up doing maths (not that everyone realised!)
We consolidated our knowledge of position and movement through angles and compass points, as well as shape (2D and 2D). We practised turning through different degrees of angles and related these to compass points. We then broke off into teams to make different angles and shapes. There were some very interesting interpretations. All the children enjoyed themselves and were able to list the skills needed (communication, team work, listening) and curricular areas covered.
