This week in P4/3 we have been putting our science coats on and finding  out about how plants eat and drink. We have been putting carnations into coloured water and thinking about what might happen and why. Some flowers are beginning to open but we think it will take a few more days before we can see whether our hypothesis was correct. We THINK that the coloured water will be taken up by the flower, a little bit like us taking a drink from a straw and that’s how plants get their food and water.
