The class were very excited for its first visit by baby Billie this week as part of the Roots of Empathy program. They were fascinated to watch and try and work out how she was feeling. They got to see how much she played with various toys, how she wasn’t too keen to lie on her back, and how quickly she would be comforted by her mum.

At the end, before Billie went home, the class got to sing the “Goodbye Billie” song as she got to say bye to each pupil in class.

The class cant wait for Billie to return, and to watch her grow and change over the class year.
