Roots of Empathy
On Tuesday we had a visit from Jacquie introducing the class to the Roots of Empathy program. They learned a welcome song which will be used next week when we get a visit from a very special visitor -a 2 month old baby! The whole class are very excited about the visit, and cant wait to see how she develops over the school year.
There was Drama in P3 this week!
This week we were fortunate to have a drama expert work with the class. They learned all about stage space, learning how to project their voice, and act out a short play.
Outdoor Art
In art, they are starting to learn about patterns. P3 have been doing this by learning what patterns there are outside, creating pictures of patterns using natural resources and comparing them to “Under the Sea” patterns. They had great fun creating these outside with natural (and other) elements found in the playground.
