This week we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes and their properties. We really enjoyed being able to find out about new shapes and revise shapes that we learned about a long time ago. We made posters to demonstrate our understanding of different shapes.

Most of our class auditioned on Monday/Tuesday for a part in our P7 Panto ‘Cinders’. Mrs Weir and Miss Sutherland had a very difficult decision to make to pick the characters. We found out our parts on Thursday and there was lots of cheering and support for everyone as they found out their parts. We are now looking forward to learning more of our songs and words for the Panto.

We all had fun at the P4 Coffee Morning by eating lots of cake and playing some games. We are really proud of the amount that they have raised for a great cause.

Some people from our class shared their ‘Sea Explorer’ stories with Miss Henderson. These were the good examples of work and are displayed on our Literacy Wall. We are now all trying to reach this standard in our written work and are improving every week!
