This week P1 have brought home their Christmas card designs, if you would like to order some cards or gift tags please fill out the form and return it to school with payment. We had lots of fun using our hands to make Santa’s face and then decorate it!

We did some writing this week after reading a story called Robot Rumpus, which is about a family who buy robots to help around the house. We wrote about what type of robot we would like. There were lots of good ideas including a Fire Bot to put out fires and a Sweetie Bot to give us sweets! That one made us hungry!

We also learned a new sound this week – p. It is a pink sound because you use your lips to make it and it is quiet. We have also been practising writing our letters and our names. Although it has been a short week, we have been very busy.
