In P4/3 today, we were looking at the life and times of one of the UK’s most fundidiluncious authors, Mr Roald Dahl as today was the 11th official Roald Dahl Day. Mr Dahl would have been a whizz-popping 100 today! We discussed our favourite books by the author including, The Twits, Fantastic Mr Fox, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Matilda to name but a few.

P4/3 students made birthday cards for the author in memory of one of the funniest children’s writers to date. Pupils chose some of their favourite characters to decorate their cards such as: Sophie from the BFG, Ash from Fantastic Mr Fox, Miss Trunchbull from Matilda and the one and only Mr Willy Wonka himself!

Our budding artists have yet to add the finishing touches but watch this space, pics will be up ASAP!
