P4 Blog update

 

This week we have been learning lots of songs for Rookie Rockstars and been rocking away in the school hall.

“I thought it was really good and I really enjoyed it” – Amy C

“It was really good as it told us loads of messages” – Ruby

“My favourite song was Bullies Ain’t Big” – Lewis H

“My favourite song was never give up” – Molly

“I really liked it because it is something that we would not normally get in school” – Emma

“It was really fun because we do not get to make as much music and noise as that” – Alexander

 

Well done to everyone in nursery for a  fantastic assembly today.

“I liked seeing the nursery assembly because I thought they worked really hard on it” – Emily-Louise

 

 

In writing we have been talking about Looking Forward to Primary 5. We all wrote a story about what we are looking forward to in P5 and these will be used for a display in our new classroom.

“I enjoyed writing the introduction and closing paragraphs to my story” – Finlay

“I think my work was the best piece of work I have done” – Zach

“I really enjoyed doing the writing because it was fun” – Callum

 

 

During activity break we helped the Primary 1D class.

“I liked playing football with Lucas” – Dillon

“I enjoyed doing the 3 legged race with Emma” – Gemma

“I liked playing tig with P1” – Justin

“I liked finding twigs for the P1’s so they could make a den” – Kasey

 

We were given the right to an opinion this week in class when we got to complete a pupil feedback sheet on home learning in our classroom.

“I liked giving my opinion” – Lewis D

“I liked giving my own opinion about home learning because it shows that the teachers listen to us” – Stephen

“I enjoyed doing the questionnaires so we can decide on what happens on homework next year” – Brayden

“I am excited about the results but I do not want home learning to change” – Emilie

“I enjoyed doing the sheet because I have told the teachers what I would like to change” – Liam

“I am excited to find out what changes may happen to home learning” – Rhys

 

Rookie Rockstars concert is next Tuesday and everyone is welcome to come along.
