P1 update

Sorry that this update is only going on tonight.

On Friday both P1 classes worked together and we discussed our learning from the week. This is the thoughts of a few pupils.

“Our caterpillars have grown” – Cadence

“Soon they’ll be butterflies in 2 or 3 weeks” – Adele

“We’ve been learning about frogs and how they grow. They start with an egg then they turn into tadpoles and they grow and grow and then their tails shrink and then they turn into frogs” – Chloe

“We’ve been learning about life cycles” – Emily

“I liked when nursery came over” – Tiana

“We now have baby stick insects” – Leah

“I liked making patterns with the nursery” – Teigan

“We are allowed to take the stick insects home” – Tyler

“I liked singing in the assembly” – Robert

“I liked being with the other P1’s” – Mason

“I liked doing my take away sums” – Ashleigh

“I liked gym this week” – Alan

This afternoon both classes got together and we planted  cress and got to take these home. We also made butterfly feeders.

In our classes we presented our class talks about our caterpillars we made at home. Both teachers are very proud!
