Sunflower time in P1

There is lots of excitement in Primary 1 at the moment. Our caterpillars are changing lots.

This afternoon both classes got together and we looked at the life cycle of a seed. We had great fun looking at a presentation on the parts of a plant, playing smartboard games, labelling the parts of a plant and  planting sunflower seeds which we took home. Both classes have some left in their classroom and we are looking forward to seeing what will happen to the seeds.
