On Monday, we were able to visit the Forth Bridges Education Centre. Here we learned about the different types of bridges across the Forth – The Forth Rail bridge (cantelever), The Forth Road Bridge (suspension) and the new Queensferry Crossing (Cable Stay).
It was a fun packed experience, working like engineers – trying on PPE (personal protection equipment), working in teams, problem solving and learn lots about the new bridge, and we even had a tower building challenge!
Everyone definitely had great fun learning about the bridges and engineering!
