This week we had an Engineering challenge as part of our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) topic. David Jamieson came in with a Bridge building challenge – we had to build a bridge that was at least 50 cm wide, 20 cm tall and could hold a 1kg weight, all to be done within a 1 hour period.

The pupils had lots of fun trying different designs – with varying levels of success! Congratulations to Emma and Caitlin on making the most successful bridge, and well done to everyone else who were able to make a bridge too!
