Primary 5 have been enjoying building their own Lego City.  Please click on the link below for a full report on their learning.

P5 planned and designed their own buildings for the “P5 Lego City” project. They had to describe write a script and describe their buildings to be recorded on video.

Unfortunately, overnight there was a big storm, and this flooded the city damaging a lot of the buildings in the process! P5 then created their own Newsround report from P5 Lego City detailing the damage and impact on the people of this town.

The children learned a lot during this mini-project- following written instructions, working in teams, writing scripts, learning about real storms (such as the recent floods in Cumbria), and putting together a news report.
