These ensure every child their right to be registered at birth, to have a name, nationality and identity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Article 7 &#8211; Name and nationality<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Children must be registered when they are born and given a name which is officially recognized by the government. Children must have a nationality (belong to a country).
