This week in Primary 5 we have being learning lots of Scots words like braw and cannie, muckle, fantoosh, crabbit\u00a0 honkin, dreich, slither and wheesht! We enjoyed lairnin’ scots, and writing our aen poems. We liked singing scottish songs like ‘Scots Wha Hae’ and ‘Wee Jeannie McColl’ at our ‘Burns’ Assembly’ on Friday. We also presented some amazing class talks with super props like a model of the ‘Battle of Stirling Bridge’ , Robert the Bruce’s skull and his diary stolen from his grave!
