Primary 1 have had a busy week.\u00a0 In literacy we have been wordbuilding with the ‘sh’ and ‘ch’ sounds.\u00a0 We listened to the story ‘The Rainbow Fish’ and wrote a sentence describing the character. In maths we are continuing to develop our understanding of addition.\u00a0 We have been introduced to ‘Number Talks’ where we discuss the strategies we are using to solve a problem.\u00a0 We have been very good at learning all the hand signals.\u00a0 We have started our new topic ‘Houses and Homes’ and we have been very interested in finding out about different types of houses in Linlithgow.<\/p>\n
