To celebrate, Network Rail have launched a new competition which aims to recognise the wonderful contributions of female engineers.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We would love for your child to <strong>research a female engineer<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>who they think has had a huge impact on the world<\/strong> and tell us what the world would be like if that engineering solution did not exist.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Their entry should take the form of a poster or story. Please complete\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=4cMswn9dTU--A9WhWMyUCQMPGiedFaVBpiAY9I2s075UOUlKSlVQSjVSRjJORVVZWkZMSVQySzNFTi4u\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the application form<\/a>\u00a0and send your child\u2019s poster or story to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:earlyengagement@networkrail.co.uk\">earlyengagement@networkrail.co.uk<\/a>. All children should have a named parent or carer as a point of contact who can provide consent to take part.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for creativity, originality and safety considerations.
