Well we are into the last few weeks of term and I can&#8217;t believe the school year is almost over.\u00a0 You are nearly Primary 3!\ud83d\ude2e\ud83d\ude2e<\/p>\n<p>Last week we were looking at Shabbat(the Jewish day of rest).\u00a0 This week we are going to be learning about Pesach (Passover) another Jewish celebration and look at how families celebrate this at home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step1 :- <\/strong>We are going to watch the BBC Bitesize clip \u2013 KS1 the story of Passover.\u00a0 This will show you what a family does and through the Passover story, why they do this.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/bitesize\/clips\/zmq6sbk\">https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/bitesize\/clips\/zmq6sbk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Talk to someone in your house about the video.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2:-\u00a0<\/strong> We are going to have a look at a document that tells us all about the Seder Plate.\u00a0 We will learn in more detail about what is on it and what it means.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/public\/harrysmuirps\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2020\/05\/29110715\/seder-plate-P2.ppt\">seder plate &#8211; P2<\/a>\u00a0 OR\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/public\/harrysmuirps\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2020\/05\/29110733\/seder-plate-P2.pdf\">seder plate &#8211; P2<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3:-\u00a0<\/strong>Lastly we have a cut and stick activity to complete.\u00a0 You have a picture of a seder plate and pictures of the things that go on it.\u00a0 You need to colour them, cut them out and stick them on the correct place on the plate.\u00a0 If you aren&#8217;t printing your sheet, you can draw the items on some paper and write what they are next to them .
