{"id":5247,"date":"2020-04-03T15:06:07","date_gmt":"2020-04-03T14:06:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/harrysmuirps\/?p=5247"},"modified":"2020-04-03T15:06:07","modified_gmt":"2020-04-03T14:06:07","slug":"easter-break","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/harrysmuirps\/2020\/04\/03\/easter-break\/","title":{"rendered":"Easter Break :)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello Primary 1, it is the last day of Term today!!!!<\/p>\n<p>Mrs Carr, Mrs Meek and I would like to wish you a happy Easter and hope that you will take a good couple of days to relax and play!\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5249 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/harrysmuirps\/files\/2020\/04\/happy-easter-images-2020-min-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"231\" height=\"130\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We will be back on here again on <strong>Monday the 20th of April 2020 <\/strong>with a new learning grid!<\/p>\n<p>Here is one little Art activity you can try out:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Crayon Mirror Image (Easter\/Spring)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">You will need:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li>paper<\/li>\n<li>crayon<\/li>\n<li>pencil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Fold a piece of paper in half.\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5251 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/harrysmuirps\/files\/2020\/04\/1-275x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"128\" height=\"140\" \/><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Re-open and cover one side with a pattern using thick layers of crayon.\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5252 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/harrysmuirps\/files\/2020\/04\/2-246x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"128\" height=\"156\" \/><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Fold the paper in half again so that the design is on the inside and at the bottom.\u00a0On the outside, use a pencil to draw a design or picture. (You will need to press a little harder with your strong hand and fingers.)<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5253 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/harrysmuirps\/files\/2020\/04\/3-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"127\" height=\"169\" \/><\/li>\n<li>The areas you fill in with pencil will life the crayon from one side of the paper to the other to give a mirror image!!<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5254 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/harrysmuirps\/files\/2020\/04\/4-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"201\" height=\"133\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ENJOY!
