P6 welcomed Scottish Fire and Rescue to our school on Monday. With Bonfire Night fast approaching it was great for the class to hear all about not only the Firework code but also how the Fire service responds to incidents at this time of year. We linked the visit to our learning by thinking about the features of the poster genre and what sort of layout and organisation would grab the readers’ attention.We used this information to create a Firewok code poster for a Primary School audience.<\/p>\n
