This week Primary 1 have been learning all about 2D shape.\u00a0 We named the shapes and used them to make shape pictures.\u00a0 Some of us went outside for a Shape Hunt and we used things we found to create our own shapes.\u00a0 Others took turns to use the feely bag, and, without looking, describe what the shapes were.<\/p>\n

We continue to learn new sounds, this week o and u.\u00a0 We have also been practising our Fry’s words.\u00a0 Please remember to return reading books on Thursdays.\u00a0 We have a limited number of books and we want everyone to be able to bring a book home weekly.<\/p>\n

Our science learning in class is all about the weather and we have been using symbols to record the weather.\u00a0 On Thursdays Mrs Beattie is in class for science and children have been learning about night and day.\u00a0 This week they made sundials.<\/p>\n
