It’s been Maths Week and Primary 1 were lucky to have 2 visitors in class to talk about how they use numbers in their jobs.<\/p>\n

We also took part in a different outdoor numeracy activity every afternoon.\u00a0 We made paper plate pictures and counted or ordered all the items we found and used to make our pictures.\u00a0 We had lots of balls to count!\u00a0 We had to try different strategies because it was difficult to count so many and they kept moving!\u00a0 We had a number trail, to count and show numbers in a ten frame.\u00a0 We even tried to count bubbles.<\/p>\n

It was great to meet and talk to so many parents this week.\u00a0 Seesaw activities have now started with a revision of our first set of phonics, enjoy!\u00a0 New activities will be added on Mondays (unless it’s a holiday).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
