As part of Scottish Maths Week 2018 we have participated in a variety of activities ranging from solving mysteries, Maths Top Trumps, Sumdog National Competition and a Roald Dahl maths challenge,which linked to Roald Dahl Day on Thursday. We used a range of skills and strategies in each task and got the opportunity to work in different groups and pairings. We also set social targets when working in our different groups. A few examples of these chosen targets included listening to everyone and valuing their contribution and maintaining eye contact when addressing a member of the group.<\/p>\n
