L.I. to understand that 3 letters can make 1 sound<\/p>\n

S.C. I can say the sound to match the letter shape<\/p>\n

S.C. I can blend this sound with other sounds to read words and sentences<\/p>\n

For this sound we go back to Inky’s Vowel House. This sound can be found in the middle part of the house at the top, it lives in the oval window. The story behind this sound is that a sailor lives there and shouts “Aye, Aye captain, “igh” (salute towards the eye) I’ll climb up to look out for land!”\u00a0 \"\"<\/p>\n

    For this activity I would like you to go the section in your home learning pack which is titled Writing Activities and find the sheet that says “What can you see at the beach? <\/strong>Look at the picture and write as many sentences as you can about the picture. Try to make your sentences as interesting as you can!<\/p>\n

    Activity 4 – \"Numeracy\u00a0 Number Talks<\/p>\n

    L.I. to tell the number of objects in a set quickly and without counting them<\/p>\n

    You could also have a go at the Spring Lines of Symmetry<\/strong> from your learning pack.\u00a0Something is symmetrical when it is\u00a0the same on both sides<\/strong>. A shape has symmetry if a central dividing line (a\u00a0mirror line<\/strong>) can be drawn on it, to show that both sides of the shape are exactly the same.<\/p>\n

    Activity 5 – Random Acts of Wildness<\/p>\n

    Today’s challenge \"\"\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \"\" Research any<\/p>\n

    wildflowers you see- what are they called, what do they look like? How many wildflowers can you find. A good way to draw or record your daily Random Acts of Wildness and how they made you feel might be on a planner such as the one below. Why not try to make one?<\/p>\n
