We are going to focus today on an important Christian celebration &#8211; a wedding. Have a look at the powerpoint.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/deansprimary\/files\/2020\/05\/t-re-591-ks1-all-about-christian-weddings-powerpoint_ver_1.pptx\">t-re-591-ks1-all-about-christian-weddings-powerpoint_ver_1<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now draw a wedding scene. Remember to include all the main people, you can look back at the powerpoint for help. Label your picture so we know who each person is.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Literacy<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ff00\">I am learning to recognise a proper and common noun\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ff00\">I will know I am successful if I can identify proper nouns<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This week we are going to have another wee look at nouns. There are two types of nouns \u2013 common nouns and proper nouns. Complete the following worksheet underlining the proper nouns with a coloured pencil. Remember to add a capital letter to the proper nouns if necessary.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/deansprimary\/files\/2020\/05\/underline-the-proper-nouns.docx\">underline the proper nouns<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Maths<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are continuing our work on fractions and are focusing on halves and quarters.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ff00\">I am learning to recognise fractions of a shape.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ff00\">I will know I am successful if I recognise a quarter and a half<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Play the roll a fraction game. First you need to cut out the dice shape and then glue it to make a fraction dice.
