Remember to tune into Joe Wicks every day! Make a poster showing how many different ways you can represent this number \u2013 like what we do in class for number talks!<\/p>\n<p>There are a lot of strategies we can use to help us with our times tables \u2013 these are called Multiplicative Counting Strategies. I have attached a poster below which shows some of the different strategies. They have used the sum of \u20184&#215;5\u2019 \u2013 create your own poster to help you remember these strategies using a sum of your own, for example \u2013 5&#215;3 or 2&#215;6 \u2013 use a sum within the 2,3,4,5 or 10 times tables.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-7964\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/deansprimary\/files\/2020\/05\/Maths-poster-232x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"377\" height=\"488\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>Literacy<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Write sentences using adjectives to describe a room in your house \u2013 draw a picture of the room you described.<\/p>\n<p>-Hide and seek: Write a set of instructions on how to find something in your bedroom. Think about the positional language (left, right, forwards, backwards etc) to help find the object.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Remember to do this week\u2019s writing task set by Miss Taylor \u2013 this will be on the Blog.<\/p>\n<p><u>IDL\/Drama<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Read the legend of Saint George and the Dragon and identify St George\u2019s Cross in the Union Jack.<\/p>\n<p>You can use the story attached or Google it yourself. If you can\u2019t get someone to join in as George or the Dragon \u2013 perhaps use a toy at home or create a model! Perform this for your family and ask them to give you 2 stars and a wish.
