Here are some fun activities for today.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Numeracy <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s practise what we know about telling the time. First, you need to choose your favourite Spring animal. Here are some suggestions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bunny<\/li>\n<li>Lamb<\/li>\n<li>Chick<\/li>\n<li>Pony<\/li>\n<li>Duck<\/li>\n<li>Swan<\/li>\n<li>Calf<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once you have drawn your Spring animal, can you colour it in using only primary colours? Remember the primary colours are blue, yellow and red. After using primary colours to colour your animal, can you use secondary colours to colour the background? Remember the secondary colours are green, orange and purple.<\/p>\n<p>Send a picture of your animal to wldeans-ps@westlothian.org.uk so we can see your fantastic work!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" nofocus\" src=\"https:\/\/101clipart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/08\/Spring%20Animals%20Clipart%2011.jpg\" alt=\"See the source image\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Writing\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Please see the following writing challenge from Mrs Anderson:<\/p>\n<p>Write 2 or 3 sentences about what you have been doing since school closed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Learning Intention<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0We are learning to write sentences that tell the reader information.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Success Criteria<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u2013 I can write facts about what I have been doing at home.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">&#8211; I can use capital letters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">&#8211; I can use finger spaces in between words.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">&#8211; I can use full stops at the end of my sentence.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">&#8211; I can draw a picture to go with my sentences.<\/p>\n<p><em>Extra Challenge &#8211; Can you write a whole story about what you have been doing?
