For reading this week, we have been focusing on developing our summarising skills. We have been using the hand model to help us develop our skills. We have to write or say key details of the story in about 5 sentences. The hand model gives us 5 questions to answer during a summary.<\/p>\n

It was World Earth Day on the 22nd<\/sup> of April. We were learning about the things that we can do to help protect planet Earth. Then, we had to pick at least five things we that we would to contribute to preserving the planet.<\/p>\n
