Jaxson – I enjoyed drawing a WW2 soldier and his equipment.<\/p>\n

Silence Day in aid of Ukraine<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Well despite everyone thinking we would never manage it…we did! There was the odd blip. (Miss Stanway was the first to forget.)<\/p>\n

Anton – I was surprised at how much money we raised.<\/p>\n

(So far \u00a371). Thanks so much for your generous donations.<\/p>\n

Hope – It was hard but we remembered why we were doing it.<\/p>\n

It helped that we spent some time outside drawing and going on the trim track even though we could only communicate on our whiteboards.<\/p>\n

We even practised some BSL (British Sign Language). Our favourite sign was for hometime…it was a tough day!<\/p>\n

Literacy<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

On Monday it was National Poetry Day. We listened to a poem and then wrote poems of our own.<\/p>\n
